USDC CASE HARBORVIEW CAPITAL vs. CROSS RIVER BANK

Harborview was the victim of a fraud; a hacker, impersonating Harborview’s CEO, instructed Harborview’s Account Manager to make transfers to a foreign account. The Account Manager submitted the transfer requests to Cross River, which executed the transfers after double-checking with the Account Manager. Thus defrauded of $1.375 million, Harborview now attempts to shift its losses to Cross River.
