Former special counsel Robert Mueller testifies that the 2020 elections are already under attack. Throughout the U.S., states are upgrading outdated voting systems, with the hope of making them more secure. The focus is not the actual voting terminals as much as the databases that store voter information. Bowdle states, “Without the controls and standards in place, without that visibility, it is really impossible to protect that voter information.”
