“Your mobile device is not safe and that’s a concern,” said Lowell Bowdle. “Even if we’re doing facial recognition, biometrics, there’s still concerns about the true identity of who is casting that vote.” Keeping the privacy of a voter’s ballot would be another challenge and hacking is a constant danger. Bowdle said, “Nothing is 100 percent secure.”
