ABC 6 Reporter Ben Garbarek sits down with Certitude Security CEO, Lowell Bowdle, to discuss online voting.

“Your mobile device is not safe and that’s a concern,” said Lowell Bowdle, the CEO of Certitude Security in Dublin. “Even if we’re doing facial recognition, biometrics, there’s still concerns about the true identity of who is casting that vote.” Keeping the privacy of a voter’s ballot would be another challenge and hacking is a constant danger. Bowdle said, “Nothing is 100 percent secure.”
